community for our Residents to enjoy. Our scheduled
activities are announced and promoted in our newsletter.
We take pride in our diverse and innovative activity program
in which all residents and their families are encouraged to
participate.
There is something for everyone! Let us explain:
Guest entertainers - they provide our residents with a
variety of entertainment and concerts ranging from country
and western songs through to tap dancing!
Happy Hour
This is a great success and always a source of fun
Group Activities
We organise a wide variety of activities including bingo,
raffles and game sessions on a regular basis.
Birthday Parties
These are monthly events celebrated with birthday cakes
and much festivity
Bust Trips
We arrange regular bus trips to concerts, special events
and interesting sites, often with a picnic lunch to enjoy.
Pet Therapy
A special treat is our 'pet therapy' with our on-site
cats Tim and Tam. Relatives are encouraged to organise
pet visits but naturally we ask that they are healthy and
safe.
Films
We have a scheduled movie program showing a variety of
documentaries and movies.
Painting Sessions
We conduct regular painting sessions with canvasses,
paints and a wide range of subjects for our residents
to paint. This is always a lot of fun.
Religious Services
We organise monthly communion and 'prayers-on-wheels' and
we have religious services of various denominations.
Barbecues and Parties
Our barbecues and "cooking in the cottage" are communal
gatherings which everyone enjoys with tea and cakes.
Reading
Many of our residents enjoy our news, views and poetry
mornings. We can also arrange for our local newsagent
to delivery newspapers and magazines on request.
Shopping
We have visiting retailers bring an assortment of items
including gifts, cosmetics, clothing and footwear
